STATE VISIT BY BOLA AHMED TINUBU TO THE UNITED KINGDOM TAKES AND INSIGHT
The president of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu travelled to the United Kingdom on a state visit organized by King Charles
The ongoing speech at the banquet hall by King Charles reaffirmed that Nigeria while under the Commonwealth has produced incredible individuals in the diaspora who are contributing immensely to the United Kingdom economy
This state visit is one of a few which has happened over the years making it tremendous
TAKES ON NIGERIA BEING A MEMBER OF THE COMMON WEALTH
While Nigeria is a member of the common wealth there are questions about common wealth countries being puppets to a grand master, this can be seen in the trajectory this countries are economically as a lot of them are still struggling albeit a few, economically
Nigeria with its oil and natural resources wealth still seems to be limping into the future
And this is the year 2026 where innovations and development both technologically and socially have become quite advanced
With so much of crude oil Nigeria has not reached the standards of its fellow OPEC states who have had tremendous leaps and development.
MOST OIL IN NIGERIA IS CONTROLLED BY FOREIGN CORPORATIONS
Nigeria has sold a lot of oil blocks to foreign corporations and this has determined not just oil prices but other cost of living items...the country still imports its crude oil and has minimal refineries, this is seen not as an impossibility but to keep tp friendly terms fraudulent contracts for foreign refineries to handle sale of finished products of crude oil
Since independence 1960 Nigeria has still been struggling and the person capita income on a single person is so low a lot of people are living in abject poverty
This can be changed if we study and follow models of oil rich countries who have developed and not given resources control to foreign corporations and business people who just want to make a profit
