Katy Perry cuddles up with Justin Trudeau after ex Orlando Bloom takes model to Super Bowl

Just a month after breaking off her engagement to actor Orlando Bloom, Dark Horse singer Katy Perry began dating Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

On Tuesday, February 10, the Dark Horse singer, 41, took to Instagram with a montage of photos that featured her four-year-old daughter Daisy and the former Prime Minister of Canada, 54.
Within the couple’s pictures, the two are seen enjoying a day on the mountain snowboarding in all-black ensembles. Within a black-and-white photo, Katy is seen sporting a bare face with a fuzzy v-neck sweater alongside Justin, wearing a crewneck, while they enjoyed a nice hotpot dinner. To pair with the heartwarming set, she captioned the post, “let love be the revolution.
The couple were together for nine years before deciding to call it quits. During that time, they had gotten engaged and welcomed their daughter in August of 2020.

Their relationship allegedly took a turn after she released her seventh studio album, 143, which was ranked as the lowest scoring album on Metacritic since 2011. 

"Katy was deeply frustrated after the reception of her new album," a source said.

The backlash surrounding the new tracks “made her very stressed,” which put strain on her relationship.

“Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension,” an insider confessed.
